Trumpeter Victor Garcia is as versatile as he is creative. In addition to playing trumpet, he also sings, arranges, composes, and plays percussion.

Praised as “an ebullient soloist” with “a radiantly polished tone,” Garcia has performed with artists including Aretha Franklin, Arturo Sandoval, Spoon, Monty Alexander, Wynton Marsalis, Victor Manuelle, Nicholas Payton, La India, The Temptations, Steve Turre, BeBe Winans, Tito Puente, Jr., Paquito d’Rivera, Randy Brecker, Branford Marsalis, and Dr. John. He has recorded on dozens of albums, three of them Grammy-nominated. He released his debut album, The Grind/The Groove, in 2018, and is currently on tour with The Isley Brothers.

He teaches at Roosevelt University, Loyola University, and UIC.
