Saxophonist KEVIN NABORS “has developed as a significant young Chicago tenor man,” declares Howard Reich. A gifted and hard-working musician, Kevin can be found in Chicago’s club and concert venues as well as on the concert scene internationally. A native of Chicago and the youngest member of Chicago’s All-City High School Band, Kevin has studied under saxophone veterans Fred Anderson, Von Freeman, Ernie Watts, Pharez Whitted, Ernest Dawkins, and Ari Brown. He has also done work for such companies as Steppenwolf Theatre, Black Ensemble Theatre, Muntu Dance Company, and the Goodman Theatre. Completing Kevin’s quartet are Junius Paul, bass; Miguel de la Cerna, piano; and Isaiah Spencer, drums.
