Steve Flowers & Roger Harris Duet

STEVE FLOWERS & ROGER HARRIS. A native Chicagoan, Steve Flowers is a flutist in both the classical and jazz fields. Steve has performed with such musical stars as Alex Bugnon, Bobby “Blue” Bland, Koko Taylor, Vicki Winans, and the late Phyllis Hyman. He has played throughout the Midwest and has just released his first CD, Playtime. Roger Harris, a pianist and educator, has played with jazz greats Stanley Turrentine, Freddie Hubbard, James Carter and Orbert Davis. Roger is also a member of the jazz ensemble of The Center for Black Music Research at Columbia College in Chicago and a jazz mentor in Orbert Davis’s MusicAlive! program.
