Victor Garcia brings his trumpet and hot Latin jazz sound to the 2012 Hyde Park Jazz Festival Gala. Garcia co-founder of the Chicago Afro-Latin Jazz Ensemble (CALJE) has recorded dozens of albums including two earning Grammy nominations in 2005 and 2008 and a nomination for a Latin Grammy in 2007. The 2012 Jazz Fest Gala is proud to honor Walter and Shirley Massey for their years of dedication to Chicago’s jazz community.
