Hyde Park Jazz Fest on Chicago’s South Side to Present 20th Edition

The Hyde Park Jazz Festival will take place for the 20th time on the final weekend of September 2026. Beginning at half past noon on Saturday, Sept. 26, and ending at 6 p.m. the next day, it will host ensembles and solo artists representing aspects of jazz’s past, present, and future, playing at 10 locations scattered across the Chicago neighborhood from which the event takes its name. They will include two museums, two churches, a bank, a performing arts center, and a pair of outdoor stages set up on the Midway Plaisance.
