RICHARD JOHNSON and SHAREL CASSITY are internationally recognized jazz artists who are part of both New York and Chicago jazz scenes. Listed as Rising Star Alto Saxophone in Downbeat Magazine for each of the past ten years, Cassity has appeared on TODAY, graduated from The Juilliard School (under full scholarship), and performed with top jazz artists including Nicholas Payton, Herbie Hancock, and Roy Hargrove. Richard Johnson attended the prestigious Thelonious Monk Institute (also under full scholarship) and has performed extensively with renowned artists Wynton Marsalis, Delfeayo Marsalis, and Bobby Watson.
